New Delhi state of India is seeing an increase in new cases of covid-19 coronavirus disease. Navratri, Dusshera and Durga Pooja celebrations have a definite impact on spread of coronavirus covid-19 infection in people.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and US Secretary of Defence Mark Esper meeting Indian ministers and secretaries there. The world is confronting a global coronavirus pandemic, the India-US partnership is more important than ever to ensure security, stability and prosperity of the region and the world.

Due to close proximity of people during these celebrations in temples and melas, a sure increase might be seen this week due to spread of coronavirus covid-19 infection. Last week, Delhi reported more than 4000 cases every day.

How this covid-19 coronavirus infection has percolated in gatherings and societies, we will know it in coming days this week.

This fortnight of Delhi has seen third spike in new cases and active cases of covid-19 coronavirus infection after first in June and second in September.

First spike in June was due to unmanaged situation and break-down of health facilities, and Second spike was after 3 months due to almost complete freedom from lockdown.

Third spike in new active cases of covid-19 coronavirus infection is just after a month due to Navratri, Dusshera and Durga Pooja celebrations and careless attitude in public. More than 25000 active cases of covid-19 in Delhi would increase hospital burden in coming weeks.

We need to understand the seriousness of covid-19 infection and behave accordingly in coronavirus pandemic.
